This album started as a collaborative poem exchanged and extended between the three of us: Kaori Yoshikawa, Warren Decker and Jerry Gordon. "Birds" was the initial theme, and the 3-line stanzas that flocked to the poem, flitted and chirped towards that Garland of Avian Art.

On January 20th 2024, we came together at MIIT House and discovered what you hear here.

There was no planning before any of the tracks, so we learned what was going to occur in much the same way as you will. We hope that the surprise is as fascinating for you as it was/is for us.

We swarmed for 6 tracks, which have been edited into 8 tracks by Jerry Gordon.

Track 4: "A Churn," is extensively edited/cut/ruined by Jerry Gordon, because the mic level for Warren was so quiet that it inspired me (Jerry) to just experiment with it as material for a new magic (hopefully).

Hope you enjoy, or at least endure.
